Rosabella and Genie

I have gone back and opened Amber Tears and begun working on it again. I am quite amazed at how long the story is, but it's still not finished yet. But I am working on illustrations for the book. This is from the first scene where Rosabella and Genie meet. A scene which I am sure that I have written and rewritten a con-gillion times.

Black and White VS Colors Genie and Aladdin

Here is the second one I did while on my hype of I'm going to see Aladdin at the Fox. This one is the iconic scene of Aladdin wishing the Genie free.

I had so much fun coloring this. My favorite part was adding extra shading to the characters. I do wish I made the little Japanese character in the last panel stand out a bit more from the gold around Genie. I did spend a while on the purple gradation in the first panel. I actually went to look at the sky in several screen caps from the movie.

Black and White VS Colors Prince Ali and Sora

I went with my sister and dad to see Aladdin at the Fox Theatre last month. It was amazing. I was so hyped to go that I colored some pages from the Kingdom Hearts manga, specifically the sections that were from Aladdin. This was the first one that I colored.

I chose this one because it is the iconic Prince Ali scene and the shadow under Abu looks like a hidden Mickey and I just noticed that. 

I really enjoyed coloring this. It was super fun. I made sure everyone had their own high light color on their outfits. Aladdin is gold like his original outfit. I looked up ref pics to double check. Goofy got Green, Donald is blue, and Sora is red because his outfit in the game is mainly red. I had a blast coloring this
